I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work so closely with Nyogen Roshi as the Head Trainee during this summer ango, and to be working in the company of my teacher, Hosso Sensei, along with sangha members from the Hazy Moon as well as from el Escorpion Negro in Mexico.
This time for training is truly a gift, and even though I sometimes doubt myself–and miss my husband, our dogs and my family–I utterly and completely trust this practice and will give everything I possibly can to make the best of this training period.
So far, it has not been easy and has taken a lot of effort, but I have also experienced the harmony of this sangha. So I feel daring and eager to continue!
